Felipe VI, a king in adversity
Tuesday, 25 April 19:00
* Private and exclusive events for members of the Círculo del Liceo

The Círculo del Liceo hosted the presentation of the book "Felipe VI, un rey en la adversidad" by José Antonio Zarzalejos, journalist and writer.

The book is a reference work on the figure of Felipe VI that reveals all the keys to his convulsive reign. Access to the head of state of Felipe VI in 2014 was traumatic after the forced abdication of his father. The years that have passed since then have been characterized by their upheaval, both in the monarch's family and in the political and institutional sphere of Spain. With the new king, the country entered a complete paradigm shift. Of Felipe VI you have to assume almost everything. This book reveals the unpublished character with his vital and political circumstances.

José Antonio Zarzalejos has a degree in Law from the University of Deusto and is a journalist. He began his career at El Correo Español – El Pueblo Vasco, of which he was also deputy editor and director. He has served as editorial director of Grupo Correo and as director of ABC. Currently he collaborates with La Vanguardia, El Confidencial.com and Cadena Ser. He has been awarded the Prize of the Federation of Press Associations of Spain (FAPE) and the Godó of journalism, among others.
